Why We Exist

"TO BRING NEW LIFE TO THE SINNER, AND NEW LIFE TO THE SAINT. A CHRISTIAN FAMILY CHURCH, REACHING THE WORLD THAT COST THE BLOOD OF JESUS."

The Vision of New Life Christian Church and World Outreach was first dropped into the hearts of our Pastors as they drove through Warsaw for the very first time back in 1983. Through the vision of New Life, we as a body of believers have literally touched the world from Warsaw, IN. Over 30 years of experiencing the greatness of God as we share His message of Life and Truth. We have seen many come to realize how much God loves them and experience new life in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you are looking for answers to life's questions and your reason for being, we invite you to join us. There is a place for you at New Life, welcome home.

Distinctly Charismatic

We are distinctly charismatic. What does "charismatic" mean? When "charismatic" was first employed it served as an embracing term. It moved beyond denominational designations to a dimensional description. The dimensions being: 1) opening to the Holy Spirit in the same way the first believers did at Pentecost and throughout the New Testament, 2) worshipping Jesus Christ with profound simplicity and unapologetic forthrightness, and 3) gaining teaching in the Word of God in a quest beyond accruing information to pursuing incarnation, i.e. seeking to see Jesus' ministry being unleashed in and through the lives of multitudes.

It is in this "charismatic dimension" of living for Christ within these core values and by their constant pursuit that the true "Spirit-filled" life is lived. This is irrespective of how people define their theology or describe their experience in the Spirit. The net result of all believers becoming "charismatic" is the total Church's movement beyond so many trapped by seeing themselves as "just layman," to millions becoming "agents of the Kingdom of Love, Life and Light!" It's the pathway of the New Testament people Jesus had in mind when He announced His Church growth and building plan! He seeks the formation of a cadre of world-penetrating, love the lost, reach and care, "witnesses," witnesses who are evidence for the case that Jesus is alive and at work through His church! His plan calls for all people to be:

Taught and lead into God's overflowing promise of life in Christ, including His Spirit's fullness and answering the call to discipleship

(Acts 2:1-40);

Trained in and shaped by God's Word unto ever increasing faith and solid, practical day to day living in their home, workplace, family and private life (II Corinthians, chapters 3 & 4)

Targeted toward an accountable, balanced lifestyle nurtured in a well pastored community of believers (Acts 2:42-47).

This is what charismatic means. And it's what a century of an ongoing, internationally impacting revival was and is meant to bring about. Just as hundreds of millions have answered the call to their moment, many continue with diligence in their pursuit of Christ's purpose today. We have been helped to this moment by their testimony and lives to receive His power, touch the world He died to save and to keep tuned to what the Holy Spirit is speaking to us.

Tenets of Faith
how we believe, and why

Tenets of Faith – The Foundational Truths We Believe

  1. THE TRINITY We believe in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Each is an individual in person, but one in unity as the Godhead. The Father is God; the Son, Jesus Christ, is God; and the Holy Spirit is God.
    (Gen.1:1; Matt. 3:16-17; 28:19; John 1:14
  2. THE INFALLIBLE BIBLE We believe that the Bible, made up of 66 books, is the Word of God. It is the truth, inspired by God and the way of life for all Christians.
    (Psalms 119; 2 Tim. 3:16-17)
  3. SALVATION We believe that every person is in need of salvation and a spiritual birth to receive eternal life, and that salvation is available to every person through the life, crucifixion, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
    (John 3:1-21; 1 John 5:1-4)
  4. LOCAL CHURCH We believe the church is the body of Christ. It is the local assembly of Christians and the center of healing and spiritual growth for all believers.
    (Psalms 92:13-14; Matt. 16:18; Eph. 1:22-23)
  5.  EVANGELISM We believe in evangelism, that all people should be saved, and that all Christians should participate on a local and worldwide scale in that mission.
    (Matt. 28:18-19; Mark 16:15-18; Acts 1:8)
  6.  WATER BAPTISM We believe in water baptism for the born again person and the regular receiving of the Lord’s body and blood in the communion service.
    (Matt. 3:16; 28:19; Acts 8:36-39)
  7. HEALING We believe physical healing has been bought for all through the crucified body of Jesus.
    (Isa. 53:3-5; Matt. 8:16-17; 1 Peter 2:24)
